Meet Megan Jones

Megan Jones - Founder & President


Megan Jones is the founder and president of Jones Advisory Group. In her role, Megan works directly with clients in developing comprehensive financial strategies to help reduce taxes, increase income and protect assets. She is an active member of her Church and supports many local non-profit organizations. Megan sits on the Board of Directors for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas as well as Go Topeka. She also hosts retirement workshops at Washburn and other area schools and businesses. Megan is a prominent public speaker in both the Kansas City and Topeka areas. She is the host of “Money Matters,” a financial radio show on Country Legends 106.9 and on Lawrence KLWN 1320. In addition, Megan hosts her weekly television segment “Money Matters.” Megan is an Investment Adviser Representative and a licensed insurance producer in several states.

She was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas and currently resides there with husband, Chris, and two beautiful daughters, Avery and Macey.  Family and faith are of number one importance to her and she considers her clients as part of her extended family.  Megan graduated from Washburn University where she obtained her Bachelors in Accounting and her Master’s in Business Administration. Prior to launching Jones Advisory Group, Megan spent ten years in Accounting/Finance with one of the area’s leading companies, Hill's Pet Nutrition.

As well as maintaining the state mandated continuing education requirements for her license, Megan also attends yearly education summits pertaining to our area of focus which is Retirement Planning.
